The photo above shows the condition of the old split rail fence which was replaced with a Signature iron grade fence purchased from the Iron Fence Shop of Akron, OH. We were deeply grateful to have had the support and assistance of many members of the community, including Ed Hollander, who arranged a clean-up of the grounds thanks to kind neighbor access for machinery, Tim Blenk Tree Care, Whimore's Landscape Service, and Bill Miller Associates, with the timely help of Mayor Sandra Schroeder. MOE Construction, April Gornik of the Sag Harbor Partnership, Michael Butler, Chairman of the Cemetery Committee, and Moises Cerdas, who donated much time and installation help with his wonderful crew, oversaw delivery of the fence materials, The fence was completed in time for a December 17th, 2016 ribbon cutting ceremony which took place in spite of a "wintery mix" that day.

In attendance were Mayor Schroeder, East Hampton Mayor Tom Rickenbach, 1st Assemblyman Fred Thiele, principal benefactors Sally Susman and Robin Canter, and members of the Sag Harbor Partnership and the Eastville Community Historical Society.
